For years, my work as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker has involved accompanying individuals through life’s uncertain, painful, and complicated seasons, including times when old ways of being no longer serve them.

Throughout my clinical work, I have accompanied people across very different seasons and circumstances, including those navigating trauma, crisis, loss, military and correctional environments, caregiving, helping professions, and the weight of being the one others depend upon.

These experiences have shaped much of what I have come to understand about the ways we learn to survive, adapt, carry responsibility, and continue forward, sometimes long after the circumstances that required those ways of being have changed.

Over time, another dimension of this work grew increasingly important to me.

I observed how often people draw upon spirituality, faith, meaning, sacred practices, intuition, and their unique understanding of purpose to make sense of their experiences.

At the same time, I recognized how easily these vital aspects can be overlooked when the focus remains solely on what is clinically measurable or definable.

This realization eventually led me to interfaith and interspiritual ministry, where I was ordained.

About Me

As I have moved through these different paths, I have come to understand more deeply that our experiences do not always fit neatly into separate emotional, psychological, spiritual, or relational spaces.

Each can inform the way we understand ourselves, what we have lived through, and what may be emerging within us.

Rooted Well Rising grew from this understanding.
